Error when username contains special characters or a space while creating an issue via JINC

Description

Hi,
what a brilliant idea for an addon (as always from K15T).
I configured everything as described in the docs. Connection to Jira should be OK, as I can choose from the project & issue type dialog.
But when I try to create a new issue I get an error message:

(See attachment if not embedded)
Jira log does not display any error.
In Confluence I get:

Caused by: java.net.URISyntaxException: Illegal character in query at index 98: https://connect.schaeferbarthold.de/jira/rest/api/1.0/users/picker?fieldName=assignee&query=Rusch, Jan-Peter

when using the Jira Form macro without any changes.
With the second example (Remove the label & assigne fields) there's no logging on Confluence or Jira side. The error message shown in the image is always displayed.

Any ideas or hints?

Best regards,

Jan
