Reasons:
- Less than 1000 downloads after about a year
- A similar plugin was published 1 month after my plugin and has more than twice as many downloads
- My resources are needed for other non-public projects and for the JIRA Metadata plugin
Instant Edit for Stash makes it possible to edit files within your stash instance
- no cloning,
- no IDE,
- no local editor,
- no other server.
This add-on adds an editor directly into Stash and provides syntax highlighting for many different file types (Java, JavaScript, HTML, XML, C++ and many more).

Current version is free to use at no charge.
How to install
- Download and install the Plugin into your Stash instance
- Find something that the Plugin could do better and create a feature request (https://aevolu.atlassian.net/browse/IES)

How to use
After installation, you should see an Edit button in the toolbar of the Source View of text files stored in your repository, but only if you have edit permission within the project.
- Open the file and click Edit
- Change the file
- Commit
