This feature requires Issue Forms for Confluence version 2.11 or higher

With the version 2.8 we have extended "Issue Forms - view form"-macro by the function that you can also directly edit the displayed Jira issue (see: How-to view details of a specific Jira issue).

From time to time it is not necessary that the user can change some or more values while creating an issue. In this case, you can predefine the value of a field and hide the field. The specified value is then transferred directly when the Jira issue is created.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open the page in edit mode and click Edit on the "Issue Forms - field"-macro (within an "Issue Forms - create form"-macro) you want to hide

  2. Specify a default value of the field and select Hide field

  3. Save the page and the field will be hidden
