This feature requires Issue Forms for Confluence version 2.0 or higher
From time to time it might be necessary for you to predefine the value of a field and not allow the user to change it when creating an issue. If this is the case you can predefine the value of one field or more and hide it. The specified value is then transferred directly when the Jira issue is created.
For example: The reporter field should be prefilled with the current user (using the currentUser() function as "Default user"). You can set this up in theĀ Issue Forms - field-macro. In order to keep the Create Form short and tidy you can then hide the Reporter field for the users. |
You should always provide a default value if you want to hide the field |
