Data Forms Board macro - How to display all data forms for a specific template in a board

Attaching a data form to a page can be all you want to do. This way the data is there but the page is clutter-free. But sometimes it might me necessary to see the collected data directly on the page or show the form to remind the user to fill it out. This is when the Data Forms Macros come into play.

  1. Click on the Edit button of the page.

  2. Now in edit mode click on the plus button to add a macro and chose Other macros.

  3. A modal will open. Select the search field and type in Data Forms. This will show you the Data Forms macros.

     

  4. Click on the Data Forms Board macro.

     

  5. Chose the Task Template and the Status Field and Insert the Board macro to the page

     

  6. The Data Forms macro is now added to the page. Don’t forget to save the page.

     

  7. After saving the data form will be displayed on the page. To create a new data form click on the Add a data form … button within the open column .

     

  8. Edit the form (e.g. add Hello World as Summary) and save it when you are done.

     

  9. The data form is then displayed in the board.

     

  10. You can now move the data form to another column using dnd and thereby give it a different status
