Within the Automation Center, under the section Templates, you will see two of our SLA - Time in Status templates displayed.

Changing the content of the monday docs in this column might lead to corrupt data. Deleting the monday docs or the whole column will delete all of your Time in Status data.

The Time in Status automation is not limited to only one status column. You can add one automation for each of your status columns. If you add more than one Time in Status column to your board, the Time in Status item view will show the data for all of the columns at once.

Time in Status views
Time in Status - item view
To get an overview of the time an item spent in a certain status, add and open the Time in Status item view. Here you can see how long the item spent in the different statuses.

The current status is displayed in bold italics on the left-hand side. In the diagram, the current status is emphasized by an indentation. If the current status is not a final status, the current time is automatically taken into calculation.

Please note that the activity log is automatically cleaned up after a few weeks according to your http://monday.com license and this can falsify the results. For this reason, we recommend activating our automation.
Time in Status - board view
This functionality requires a Plus license
When you open the Time in Status board view, you can display the Time in Status values of different items in a table format. You can apply filters and also sort the data according to your preferences.
