Preconditions for j.in.c

You will need Confluence and JIRA to use j.in.c for Confluence. The Application Link between Confluence and JIRA must be configured to use OAuth (impersonation).

Before you begin: To check the Application Link configuration, you must log in with Confluence Admin permissions.

  1. Click the cog icon at top right of the screen and select Confluence Admin.
    The Administration Console is displayed.
  2. In the Administration section, click Application Links
  3. The List must contain one Application Link to a JIRA instance
  4. Click the edit icon
  5. The Outgoing/Incoming Connections should be "OAuth (impersonation)" (At least the Outgoing/Incoming Connections must be "OAuth")

Before you begin: To install a j.in.c, you must log in with Confluence Admin permissions.

Installing j.in.c via the UPM

  1. Click the cog icon at top right of the screen and select Confluence Admin.
    The Administration Console is displayed.
  2. In the Atlassian Marketplace section, click Find New Add-ons.
  3. In the search field, enter 'j.in.c' and press Enter.
    The search results are displayed.
  4. Click my j.in.c add-on.
    The plugin details are displayed.
  5. To install a version, click Install.

j.in.c is displayed under Manage Plugins > User-installed Plugins.
