Data Forms View macro - How to display a data form on the page

Attaching a data form to a page can be all you want to do. This way the data is there but the page is clutter-free.
But sometimes it might me necessary to see the collected data directly on the page or show the form to remind the user to fill it out. This is when the Data Forms Macros come into play.

  1. With at least one data form attached to the page click on the Edit button of the page. (You can find more information on https://aevolu.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DFC/pages/1991082000 here.)

  2. Now in edit mode click on the plus button to add a macro and chose Other macros.

  3. A modal will open. Select the search field and type in Data Forms. This will show you the Data Forms macros.

  4. A faster way to add one of the Data Forms macros is to type {Data into the editor of the page. This will open a drop down list with the Data Forms macros.

  5. Click on the Data Forms View macro.

  6. Chose the attached data form from the drop down list under Attachment (if there are more than one).

  7. Click on Insert to add the form to the page.

  8. The Data Forms macro is now added to the page. Don’t forget to save the page.

  9. After saving the data form will be displayed on the page. To fill out the form click on the Edit button.

  10. Edit the form and save it when you are done.
