What's the difference between Item Score and Board Score

As of November 2024, the previously existing functionality referred to as "Score" has been renamed to Item Score. This renaming aims to clarify that the score is calculated based on an algorithm directly tied to a specific item.

Item Score

The Item Score represents a calculated score based on:

  1. A dedicated algorithm specific to the item.

  2. The values utilized in the calculation process.

All elements related to the Item Score (calculation algorithm and input values) are consolidated into a single form. This form, in its entirety, is stored in association with the specific item.

Board Score

The Board Score differs from the Item Score in several key aspects:

  1. The scores and the values used in the calculation are components of the item's columns.

  2. The calculation algorithm and the lookup table (used to convert statuses into numerical values) are associated with a board, rather than an individual item.
